The War on Coal is Wrong

The Sierra Club is using every legal and regulatory challenge available to stop any coal fired electricity plants from being built in the United States. They have a chart with all their projects: Stopping the Coal Rush, including “victories” in Wisconsin. Madison based Bruce Nilles explains everything being done is to prevent carbon dioxide from causing global warming.

As evidence mounts that carbon dioxide has virtually no potential to adversely affect air temperature or ecosystem stability, it raises a question conservationists need to consider. How much good could be done if every penny the Sierra Club is spending on legal resistance to coal plants was spent instead on purchasing wildlife habit? The Sierra Club is not a conservationist organization. They are harming the movement.
